Model 1905 of the M&P 38. Low number for that issue. . .probably manufactured in 1909.

What he said as that's an old but interesting revolver and by the way the 38 Special and the S&W 38 special are two different rounds.

Maybe you meant to say this -- but, .38 S&W and .38 S&W Special are different.

.38 Special and .38 S&W Special are the same.

150384 would date shipment to about 1910-11. S&W would have called it a Model of 1902 as it has the rounded butt. One with a square butt is the Model of 1905 by S&W's terminology. The grips are from the 1920s, and not original.
