Default two King guns 1926 and a Pre 21

Hi
Its been a while since I posted any King guns so here are two very Scarce Models.
First is a 1926 44 5 inch shipped in 1940 and converted by King.
Second is a Pre 21 5 inch converted by King. The Pre 21 is a very Scarce revolver because
it would have been one of the last ones done by King.
Both guns are as they came from the factory 99%.

Where is the "LUST" button? Those are a couple of real treasures. I can't decide whether I like the little front ramp like these have or the full length ventilated rib on the Super Target conversions... but I'd jump at a chance to own either one! Congratulations.

Jim it is always such a shame to see the terrible junk that you and Bill have collected. Do you guys ever find a gun with a turn line or muzzle wear???

Very nice indeed, I have been lucky enough to examine two King specimens, (customer show and tell) one was a pre-war Outdoorsman, the other was some kind of a Colt D-frame. Both had the ventilated rib and cockeyed hammers. I still haven't seen one for sale though.

Very nice guns Jim, love the look of the tall front sights. If you ever need help wiping down your guns, call me, I'd be willing to help. Larry

I'm extremely envious! Those are two beautiful revolvers. The 1926 44 really looks sharp with the HBH.

First off, very nice. Still very new here, but read through the forum almost nightly. Never seen either of those models that I recall.

I have a question. 1926 that shipped in 1940? Is that a model 1926? Or is it a 44 built in 1926 that sat around for 14 years? I would guess the later.
Thank you,
Bob

It was referred to the Model 1926 Hand Ejector, the .44 Hand Ejector 3rd Model and the Wolf & Klar Model. The first shipment of seventy five (75) revolvers, all 5" nickel plated, shipped to Wolf & Klar, Fort Worth, Texas, on January 27, 1927.

Apparently, the revolver in question shipped in 1940.
