Default Bought a 14-1

Went to an auction a couple weeks ago and picked up a nice 14-1. I have wanted a nice K-38 to go with my 17-4 that I bought new back in 1980. The 14 is about 95% with some blue wear on the muzzle and bottom of the trigger guard. I probably paid a bit too much for it, but a -1 this nice doesn't show up every day. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I surely will. Serial number is K431XXX which translates to 1961 from what I have found. The gun is very tight with no cylinder play or end shake.

Let me be the first to congratulate you on the very nice 14-1. Makes a nice companion to the K-22

Very nice! Congratulations! I won a 14-3 on G.B. last year August. It is a beauty, and shoots quite well. I loaded 148 gr. LWC, and they remind me of .22's. Enjoy your 14! Bob

Very nice M14-1. Looks to be in great shape. I will warn you in advance they have a problem with putting all the bullets into a single hole distorting any kind of good group. Enjoy!
