Found a K22
Made the rounds of Pawn shops in a near by city and found a K22 with no model markings. Surprised that it is a 4 screw. Tight and great trigger. Just a small amount of blue wear at the muzzle and a couple hair line bluing scratches. Nice case hardening and diamond grips. Serial K3087xx. $600 out the door. Thumbs up or down.
I think I did well looking at K22 Prices

K3087xx would date it at about 1957, the so-called 4-screw model K-22 Masterpiece. $600 would be an OK price.

Two thumbs up.......................
Is it me or do the grips look a little beat-up.... for that gun?

That's a good deal on one of the funnest coolest guns ever made. The finishing during the 4 screw days was top notch.

Think it is just the photo. Checkering is still sharp and no dings in grips. They could use some oil. Pretty dull looking.

When did the factory change from matte blue finish to gloss bluing on the Masterpiece line?

I think you did great if it's correct and not refinished, which it looks like it is.
Is this your first K22? Not a lot more fun than an afternoon plinking with a K22.

Around here thats a good price. They don't come available very often but when they do they are usually $700 to $750.
I have a feeling you are going to love it.

Not refinished.all stampings very sharp. Domed screw heads and pins. Great case hardening on trigger and hammer.
I also have model 18 which has severed me well for a long time

I'd say you got it about $150 or more under value.
