Default Brazillian 1917

Picked up some time ago. In really bad shape. Spent a lot of time on it. Lots of sanding, polishing, replaced a few parts. Grip in really bad condition, looked like it had been stored in a jar or water. Lots of bad rust, that went deep. Took it down as far as I thought reasonable, still a lot of pitting. I had it blued. Noticed that pitting is getting worse, started greasing and keeping grips off, seems to help. Any way I can seal to eliminate further rusting. If I heated in oven, would this help remove any deep moisture. Any suggestions appreciated.

The pitting won't get any worse unless you can see active rust at work.
Think I would have just Parkerized the thing and shot it.
