CLOSE Please Model 10 Price Check
LGS has this pristine model 10 from 1961. The Revolver is 99%+. No refinish but it kooks like it is brand new. It has the matching/ original box (box is a worn) and a Helpful Hints pamphlet. Now for the stocks. They do not match..on last 2 numbers. Instead of
C 514x57 they say C514x17. Probably a factory error as they fit like they were fitted to gun. I would say maybe an armorer error but this gun has never seen a holster.
Asking $499. Seems about $100 high for a model 10 but in this condition I wanted some 2nd opinions.

Mike - buy it, throw it in safe, and forget about it
I think it is more than fair and the grips are close enough not to worry about.

For that condition, and with box, the price is very good. The grip panel number seems so close that it might have been a factory mis-stamping. If you want an early Model 10, buy it; you're not going to find a better one at anywhere near this price.

You won't find one any better for less! I'd grab it.

It looks too good to pass up. Compare the price to a current production M10.
If I saw it in a local shop, I would buy it even if I had to sell something else to finance the purchase.

Very good price for a collector grade M10. If you want a collector grade M10 then buy this one. Doubtful you will see a cheaper one. That would have a $700 price tag on it anywhere I shop.

HI Mike, you have a good LGS there. What dash number is it? Did you buy it? The 10 no dash thru the 10-4 are harder to find. I found a great 10-4 with a 6" bbl and figure I'll offer abt 450 for it. Yours has a box and looks nice. Larry

What is the price on the .30 M1 Rifle ammo (Military .30-06) in the background of the third picture?
