Default Info request on a S&W 32 Long Revolver

Hello,
I have a S&W 32 Long GG Revolver with different serial numbers on the barrel (325891) and on the frame (47264)! Looking to find out what the GG means, guns age, why two different numbers, and if this gun uses standard S&W 32 Long ammo?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Where is the GG stamped? You should probably post a few good pictures if you want an identification. If it is a S&W revolver with a swing-out cylinder (not a top break), and the barrel stamped 32 LONG CTG, it is chambered for .32 S&W Long.

Is it possible that the "GG" is actually "CTG"?
