This is one of a couple of old S&W revolvers I got from my father. Any information would be appreciated.

It is a 6-shot revolver, silver (nickle? stainless?), with a 3.5 inch barrel. The right side of the barrel is stamped "32 LONG CTG", with "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side. It has what I believe to be the original diamond-pattern wood grips. The SN is imprinted on the forestrap. It's hard to read, but I believe it says 2867XX. There is only a production number inside the yoke.

It is a .32 Regulation Police, shipped c. 1917-18. Barrel should be 3 1/4" long.
The stocks appear to be original.
It is nickel plated. S&W did not make stainless revolvers until 1965.

The closest SN on my list to yours is 2762xx which shipped in 5/19. It's really not in collectible condition, and like JP@AK, I really know little about current values of .32 RPs. I recently saw a blued version in considerably better cosmetic condition priced at $600.

That's a great family heirloom. They were introduced in 1917 therefore an early one still with gold plated medallions. You'll find matching serial #s in 5 other locations including the back of the right side grip which will verify they are original to your gun. The #s should be read with visual aid for accuracy.

Prices are all over the place. I got one (blued) in very good condition for less than $400 a little over a year ago, but thought I had made a pretty good deal. I bought a really rough one for less than $100.

Not knowing how it is mechanically, I'd just take a shot and say between $250 and $300. But, I'm sure other experts will be by shortly. (And I usually underestimate what values are!)

That's a priceless family heirloom. I own a few pretty nice guns, but my Grandfather's .32 Regulation Police from 1924 would be the last to go...

It has little monetary value, my guess is maybe $200, but if you have a family to pass it down to, it could be priceless. 32 Regulation Police revolvers are not big dollars even in high condition. I picked up a 1920 RP for $300 in April of this year.
