KING modified REG MAGs
Other than front sights, rear blades and cockeyed hammers, has anyone seen a Reg Mag with a "Super-Target" type conversion? Thanks

The RMs already had the rib integral with the barrel. I believe that they were the first S&W hand ejector with the integrated rib. So in effect, all RM's are "Super Targets"... All that the RMs are missing is the micrometer rear sight (added by S&W post war).
Pre-War K-22 Outdoorsman - King Super Target conversion with cockeyed hammer and S&W grip adapter
Post-War K-38 M&P - King Super Target conversion with Ropers and cockeyed hammer
Pre-War 38/44 Outdoorsman - King Super Target conversion with cockeyed hammer and Ropers
Registered Magnum - Shipped to King with cockeyed hammer and King sights (no need for super target rib...)
My thoughts,

Paul:
The above guns are also "at the back of the safe" - that's the reason that I take photos of the guns... Then, when I need a S&W fix, I can just go to my photo files, click through a few, and have it tide me over for a little while... That is until I can't resist "the pull" any longer - then I have to head to my safe, pull one or two out, wipe them down and appreciate the real life beauty of what makes a S&W special.

I'm just surprised somebody in the 30's didn't just have to have a Reg Mag with a ventilated King rib. Maybe even a weight tube under the barrel, although that might take some doing. Beautiful guns you have there, by the way!!
