Welcome to the forum. Where is the serial number? Is it on the butt or front strap?

Your SN would put it as a .32 Hand Ejector, Third Model if the SN is on the butt. These were manufactured between 1917 and 1942, in the SN range of 263001 to 536684. Yours being in the low part of that range, it would probably have been made just after WWI.
If the SN is on the front grip strap, it would be a .32 Regulation Police (RP) model. SNs began at 262000 in 1917. The closest .32 RP SN to yours I have listed is 2762xx which shipped in 5/1919

SN is on the butt. So is it an I Frame or an J Frame?
My wife loves this little gun.

It is an I frame .32 Hand Ejector 3rd Model as DWalt pointed out.

What is the best way to post up a pic? The Frame does not have the S&W logo on the side nor does it have made in the us on it.

There are instructions that can be found. I use Photobucket. Use the search feature.

I picked up my first two I frames from a member here awhile back. One is a .32 3rd Model like yours from about 1924. The other is a 1917 Regulation Police in .38 S&W. I understand your wife's admiration, the I frames remind me of little pieces of jewelry. My girlfriend has already taken ownership of the .32. Congrats on yours, but don't expect to hang on to it for long.

I ordered a new set of grips for a S&W I Frame and they did not fit so I sent them back to (NC Ordnance) with the grips that were on the gun when I bought it. I am now looking at load data for the .32 S&W long to start reloading.

Some time ago I had some fit and quality problems with grips ordered from NC Ordnance and will not buy from them again. Maybe they have improved their product, but it sounds like they have not. You might look on eBay.

I Frame grips can be difficult to find, but if you look long enough they are out there. I recommend you look in one of the current reloading manuals for loads. The Lyman manual does give several good cast bullet/lead bullet loads. It is a great shooting mild cartridge and inherently accurate.

In the period yours was produced after WW I and before ~ 1920, the logo was not used. The Made in USA was not introduced until May 1922.
As DWalt posted, used original S&W grips are a better value than repros. And the factory small size I frame walnut grips all the way up to 1953 will fit correctly as well as the hard rubber.

There was a posting in the reloading area of the forum recently which went into some detail on reloading recipes for the .32 S&W Long. My personal standard .32 S&W Long load is a 90 grain RN or conical bullet over 3.0 grains of Bullseye. It will do all you need done. You can use .32 ACP dies if you have a set - that is what I do. Bullet should be .312"-.314" diameter. You can use .308" bullets, but grouping may not be so good. Worth a try, I have used 100 grain .308 Plinkers (half-jacket) with fair results.
