Default Value on my m1917

Going to list my m1917 for sale but trying to gauge the value.

I am the third owner. Great grand father carried it given to my grandfather and then me. Grand father had never shot it. I put 6 rounds through it. Great grandpa never shot it in the war all handling marks are from his carry.

Anyhow. Serial is 106xxx and puts it as September 1918

Here are the pics. Let me know your thoughts on value

1917's are really gaining in popularity. Your 1917 is valued anywhere from $1000 to $1500. Hope it finds a good home when you sell it.

Thanks everyone for the replies and the well wishes. Fighting and won't give up by the grace of God that's for sure.

I'll probably post it in the for sale in a few days and see what happens. I appreciate it again.

FWIW, I paid $800 for one with much less bluing on it about 5 months ago. I'd say it's north of a grand, for sure. Good luck with everything.

Fight the good fight. Beat it for everyone who didn't catch it in time. You are in my thoughts.

For comparison, my son recently sent me a pic of a 1917 he saw for sale at his regular gun shop in Indiana. Looks like original blue, some wear, and replacement grips, listed for $1700.
