Factory Letters and SWHF Members
Members of the Smith & Wesson Historical Foundation receive a $10.00 discount on factory letters, but you must list your membership number to receive it. If you don't know your number, or cannot find your membership card, send me a private message or an email at [email protected] and I will look it up for you.

Ok wait, I thought the discount was for SWCA members? Is there an additional discount for SWHF ?

My bad - looks like the discount is for SWHF members (looking at the bottom of a blank form)

Does being a member of the SWCA offer any discount on S&W factory letters or is it only for members of the SWHF? Thank you in advance for your time and response.

It never fails!! Every time I need my glasses, I can't find them. One time they were on top of my head. The Boss Lady was not neither kind nor forgiving when she told me that----but she did laugh.

Check your Spring and Summer 2017 Journals; the back pages. This is an old thread raised from the dead.

Members of each organization (or both organizations) now receive the discounted price for a letter of authenticity.

Mike,
Thanks for the clarification. I had printed the letter request form directly from the SWHF website and it is obviously an old version because the form they currently have posted for use does not include a space for the SWCA membership number; thus my reason for asking. I completely missed the correct and revised letter request form at the back of our SWCA Journal. Ugh, my bad. Thanks again.

Bill,
Thanks for your response and clarification. My bad, I completely missed the revised form found at the back of our S&WCA Journal as was pointed out to me by Mike. I was using the currently form I found on the SWHF website which still does not include a spot to add our SWCA membership number for the applicable discount. All is good now thanks to my SWCA friends.

Todd, glad to be able to help. I had to recheck as I was getting worried. I remember reading about it but could not find the source. Finally figured out going to the Journal.

I recently received an historian's letter and found that S&W Historical Foundation members receive copies of the shipping invoice with the letter.
