Model 27-0
Yesterday some friends and I gathered at the range for a little target shooting. I saw my friend Kent shooting a N frame Smith and when he got through I asked to look at it. It is a 6" 27-0, four screw, "S" serial number with a beautiful set of diamond magnas. He said he bought it in a pawn shop last week for $500.00. I don't know how I missed that one as I had been in the same shop about the time he bought it. Kent emptied his range box and all he had were 27's and 28's...eight of them. The man has good taste, especially the 27-0.

500$? Did he wear a mask when he made the deal? That's a steal!

Yes. A great price. A few years back, I sold a 1952 6" .357 Magnum (5 screw), original stocks, with an aftermarket alteration to the Patridge sight and some minor bluing wear for $750 and I thought I gave the guy a very good deal.
