Pre 29 4" 4 screw
I must admit I have a weakness for early 4" model 29's as well as Early Combat magnums. I was offered this a couple of months ago and was proud to add it to my collection. Front to back in the last photo. Pre 29 4" 5 screw, middle Pre 29 4" 4 screw and last but not least 29 no dash 4" 4 screw. Now maybe just maybe I will find a 29-1 4" out there someday. I have not had alot of luck finding -1 guns though. ;-)
Thanks again Jim!!!

That is one gorgeous 5 screw .44 magnum. And the fact it's a 4" blued one makes it a grail gun for me as well.

Thank you. You passed one of my grail guns to me last year and I'm still grateful. Thanks again Bud!

Great looking 44 Magnums. There has only been one 4-inch 29-1 reported with a bright blue finish, but there may be more out there.

I had no idea. I figured they were scarce but only one reported 29-1 4 "?
I will keep my eyes open but I won't hold my breath. Thank you for the information.

There is something about a 4" N frame. I bought a 24, 25, 27, 29, 57, 58, as well as a heavy duty and a 520. My 24 is one of the 80s gun and with a set of real stag grips is the gun I pack around most of the time. I even bought one of the new, factory engraved 29s. Just can't resist them. Shotgunner

See my post of S227230,as DOC44 mentioned, the one known blue 3 screw 29-1 wearing a 4 inch barrel. Didn't want to post pics of it here and hijack your thread of great looking 4 inch 44 Magnums.

No sir . Just the one black/ blue case for the five screw. It did not come with the case. I bought it from a fellow forum member.

Go for it Chuck. I'd love to see it again! But I did not realize there was only one reported to exist!
