Hi , I am looking for some info on my M 25. Like what year? Also what is the difference between M25 and M25 -2 ect. Serial # s1966xx. Thanks

Your Model 25 dates to around 1960. The 25-2 has an extractor rod with a left-hand thread (yours has a right-hand thread) and a 3-screw frame (yours has a 4-screw frame with the cylinder stop plunger screw in front of the trigger guard).

Post some pictures...they are terrific revolvers and usually worth around a grand or more depending on condition, barrel length, grips, box, etc.
