Default Help with identification

I picked up a very nice looking S&W Nickel plated 32. I believe it was refinished due to the hammer and trigger (they were not plated at the factory?). What year was it produced and what would the potential value be? Anything particularly interesting about it?

Details:
.32 Long
Barrel length: 4.25"
Fixed sights
S/N: 382462
Model #: nothing on yoke or gun
Hand ejector

382462 would date its probable shipment at sometime in the early 1920s, I'd say 1923. Refinished, and MOP grips are not original. Maybe $200-$300.

It does look good. Thing is 32 longs are fun and cheap to shoot if you reload. Easy to reload to. Fun guns.

Wouldn't it cost that much to have it refinished? It's a pretty gun but I don't like that type of finish.

Its official name is a .32 Hand Ejector, model 1903. Enjoy!

The refinish and after market grips really hurt the value as far as the collector market goes. It is what is referred to as a "shooter" still a very nice revolver but not as collectable. I paid $400 for a similar one, but a 6" with original finish and stocks.
