Default Ultimate Collection

Just looked at the greatest collection I have ever seen. You can forget the new cased pre 29s and pre 27s 24s etc. the 22 pre 64 model 70 Winchesters all mint. The are 11 model 21 Winchesters of which 2 are Grand Americans. I'm sure I forgotten half of it and yes it is for sale, the 2 pre 29s are mine and the rest is going fast. Still sort of in shock.

This post reminded me of some of my early dates as a teenager. Started out with a lot of promise and went nowhere.

It's about 20 mi from me. Someone wants all of the 21s (real deep pockets) most of the Smiths that are left are going to the gun show this weekend in Portland Ore. along with the 70s. Forgot about the Coopers and D grade Remingtons, the Pythons etc.

Just stating what I did yesterday thought the other crazy collectors like me would like to hear about it. I don't know about you but I haven't ever seen a model 21 Grand American let alone touched one. I have come across small groups of Smiths like these but never as many with boxes and tools in one place. The only weapon in the collection that isn't perfect is one pre 64 Model 70 that it looks like something got on the receiver and it has some rust on it. This is the same collection that I got a 21 Thompson and an MP 40 out of about a month ago and lets just say my funds are a bit low or most of the Smiths would be mine. If you don't believe me than go to the Portland gun show this weekend I really don't care.

It would have been nice if you had shared the seller with the group before they went on public sale rather than teasing us...

Just sayin'.

I couldn't share the seller It's a screwed up deal the owner is in a rest home and the person with power of attorney wanted everything to be on consignment with their LGS. They also want to control the amount of cash coming in for tax problems. I know sounds crazy but that's what is happening.

The LGS? Sure they wouldn't mind you saying who they are?
