Default New to me 1905 4th change...yes...another rescue!

I got this one via an online auction. It is in the 523xxx serial number range which I believe places it circa 1925. Mechanically, it functions 100% with a good bore. The Jay Scott stocks (or whatever they are...) came off about 15 minutes after I opened the box.

I went to the safe and did some shifting around. It wears these stags now.

I don't need it. I just sorta had to have it!

Best,
Charles

Been there, done that! Those stags belong on that gun.
Maybe as late as Aug/Sep 1927.

Hi
.38 M&P, serial number 531541, shipped in February, 1926. So 1925 is certainly possible for yours. Since they were not shipped in serial order, yours could have gone out later.

The stag grips make the gun. I really like it.
