Nice acquisition Kris. I'm still on the fence about the pintos, mostly because I have never seen one in person. Awesome that it's in original as shipped configuration.

I am telling you something you already know , that is a beautiful firearm I have always wanted a pinto but have never even held one , congratulations on a great piece .

I love it. And, the closest I've come to a Pinto is a 3914 and 3914 with the frames, slides, and other misc. parts transferred. Pathetic, I know. I can live with that. Don't judge me.

Thats a good one. Curious what guys were doing with these guns built this way. Has it been shot much? Was it a BBQ gun? Wish a story came with this one.

That is a twin to a gun I have in my safe that was part of that same shipment to Rex Firearms in June of 1954. I believe there is one other member here who has one of those guns as well. It is one classy looking gun and needless to say, I love it! Here is mine with a darker colored set of grips.
