Default Newly acquired - model 37

Picked up this Airweight today. Model 37 no dash, serial number 235XXX. I think that puts it between 1957 and 1962?

You are in the ballpark as this timeframe is fairly wide. That said my 37 is a bit younger @ #195XXX and a mite bit rougher as it suffered from a fitzing. I've re hammered, rebarreled but cannot fix the trigger guard.

The recoil was nothing to shake a stick at.

I consider my flat latch, 232XXX, a '61 gun. Might be a bit earlier or later.
