Default Identify D prefix serial number

Found this D prefix serial number and no screw in front of trigger guard so I think it's after 1961 but not certain. Anyone know date of manufacture?

The D prefix started in 1968 and this one dates to sometime in 1970. Hope this is helpful.

It's a model 10-5 that most likely dates to around Apr/May time frame 1970. Pearls are faux, but look nice on that nickel gun.

Beautiful gun. I just hate to see someone scratching on the frame. Don't understand why they don't do it under the grip on the grip frame.
