Which .44 mags to sell
I'm selling a couple of .44 mags to fund a Benelli Super Sport purchace and can't make up my mind which ones. First possibility is a 95%+ Pre 29 4 screw 6.5 inch with cokes and the original black clamshell box and sight adjustment tool. #2 is a s prefix model 29 maybe 90% I think 1960 DOB. Those early guns sure are smooth shooting, triggers and action. #3 is a 629-3 mountain gun, so hammer mounted firing pin. #4 is a Ruger birdshead grip Vaquero with 12 rounds through it. I also own a mountain revolver so the MG is expendable. I'll sell them on here after I decide which ones. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK

For me it would be the Ruger and the 629-3. A no brainier, IMO.

If you sell the pre 29 to me, then that's the one you should sell. If not, then sell one of the others.

Number 1 might fund your entire purchase (haven't looked a Benneli's in a while)

I'd keep the 629-3 MG that I can shoot every range trip.
Keeping old pre xx guns in a safe handling with kid gloves is not my style of enjoying firearms.

Great advice from my wise old Daddy , " Son , don't ever sell a gun you like to get one that you may not like...chances are you going to regret that selling !" .
Just thought I would pass that along.....

Of the 13 firearms in my safe today only one of them was there a year ago.
Don't become too attached to material things.
Expand your horizons and try as many new things as possible before you expire.
Maybe I'm a tad bit sorry I parted with the 10-6 I carried for 20 years when I retired but that's the only thing.
Everything in my safe is for sale or trade, always.

Keep #1 and #2. How many of those have you seen available, and how many others will hold the value they command? Ten years from now, that may change, but eventually, they will pass, or we will. I have few pieces of art I would not sell, but the pre-number Smiths are, IMO, keepers. Best of luck on your decision!

That Benelli Super Sport (is that a 12 Ga. semi auto?) would have to be pretty nice to part with any of those, but my choice is to work your list backwards to raise the money.
