Jim,
Sure enough! Do they have 3rd lock cam plates attached?
I have a TL NOS 455 Barrel I've been holding for a project.

If that is not art I don't know what is. What a great way to turn a mess into a masterpiece.

Dave ,
Only thing I can say about that that ain't already been said is ..... I wish you lived next door to me . Your projects remind me of my pap , he could build anything too . That is an awesome gun and a save not everyone could pull off with such success . You are getting right on up there with Elmer in my mind , keep em' coming !
Eddie
PS: That screams for one of those Keith/Brill shuck's you do so well . Looking forward to seeing what you pair it up with for keeps .

One of my all-time favorite modified S&Ws. Fun to see this one run to the top again.

Wyoming adopted another of Dave's doin's.
Every time Dave comes to Wyoming, it costs one of us some green backs.
If he decides to move out here, we'll go broke.
Dave snuck that one past me Monday. He already had WYO hooked anyway. Just as well, I couldn't afford to look at another of Dave's guns.

That TL 44 Outdoorsman is the epitome of taking a lemon, actually two lemons, and turning them into lemonade!
One of the greatest enjoyments of this hobby is taking apparently junk guns and not only bringing them back to life, but as a true anachronism.
Sometimes in the process we upgrade an older model with newer design technology such as a heat treated cyl, ribbed barrel, different grip frame shape, etc.
But in this case Dave has upgraded a newer model with "old" design technology, the TL middle lock and TL short throw hammer. And upgraded the old TL design with a side plate hammer block safety. A true work of art!
