Default 1927 32/20

I have a 1927 32/20 ,it has 32wcf on barrel it is a 6 inch nickel gun .The main spring is broken also I want to put stag grip panels on it .What size do I order can I even get parts for it as I believe it is larger than a J but smaller than a K any hel will be appreciated .I am no gun smith but this is sort of a project for me as this firearm was locked up and looked rough when I got it but after lots of soaking and polishing it actually looks good and I rigged a main spring out of saw blade and it fires single action and is pretty accurate so I want to make a trail gun out of it .

The S&W .32-20 revolvers were built on the K frame in both round and square butt styles. The stocks and mainspring for any K frame should fit.

You are posting in the wrong area, but to answer your question, it is a K-frame and about any K-frame grips should fit. Ditto for the hammer spring. With .32 WCF stamped on the barrel, yours would be from the 1914-1922 period, not 1927. Parts should be easily found through the normal parts sources, such as Gun Parts-Numrich and many others.

You did not say whether yours has a square butt or a rounded butt, but replacement grips for both types are available.

Let me recommend my friend Patrick Grashorn for elk stag grips. He does wonderful work and the grips are affordable.
