Default Acquired my first SV M&P

One of our forum members showed this SV a few years ago and I guess got tired of wiping the drool off every time I looked at it so he sold it to me. It's a great example from S&W who was using up the last of the Victory frames to sell commercial models to civilians right after WWII. Nicely plugged lanyard hole, S stamp on the side under the top of grips, blued machined medallion washers. This example is a 5" model.

A wonderful piece. Have you thought about getting a factory letter on it?

Excellent. For some reason I really like the .32-20 round. It would be nice to have a Marlin lever action in that caliber and a M&P to match up with it.

I had that combo for a while. Had to sell the Marlin a while back. I do have a small Martini that has been re-chambered to .32-20 that is fun to shoot.

Lee

On the 5", serial number SV769844, with prewar stocks, the missing item in my database is the style of medallion retaining washers. Would you check and see whether they have the blued or non-blued washers and let me know? I'm quite sure they will be machined and not stamped on those stocks.

Thanks!
