Default Pre-Model 27

Have an opportunity to trade for a pre-model 27 6" with stag grips and a Tyler T Grip along with the factory Magna Diamond grips. All in good condition a shooter grade gun with no box or papers. Is it worth the $700.00 in trade I am giving up?
Thanks in advance for your considered opinion.

Good condition is a little too vague to price it. If it's truly a 6", not a 6 1/2", it's a bit scarcer.

If you don't get it and in 6 months you think you'll regret it, it's worth $700.

The golden rule: the sting of regret for not buying one you like always lasts much longer than the sting of the cost!

NRA "Good Condition" allows for some rust, as long as the rust doesn't compromise function or safety. It would be necessary to know exact condition to make a good price estimate.

But ... the stag grips (if real / not plastic) have to be worth at least $100, then kick in around $40 for the T-Grip. That brings down the price of the revolver + diamond magnas to under $600. It would have to be in pretty sorry shape to not be worth that much.

Just my personal take, since I happen to like the 357 Magnum S&Ws. Any one in reasonable condition for less than $1000 is probably worth it. At $700 I doubt you can go wrong.

YMMV,
Dave

I'd put $700 in something like that.

Depending on what you are trading away it sounds like a good trade. I am with others who'd have a hard time passing up a good 357 for less than a $1000
