Default What are the odds .. Tool kit for Pre Model 18 Dated 1953

Hello all ... Needs some help, did they make per say a " tool kit " for a 1953 Pre Model 18 ? Sealed kit ? Was hoping to complete this firearm. Have the box and just bought the " helpful hints " phamplet.

Not sure did this have a kit or loose pieces ? Any help would be great.

Thank You, Brian

Tools would most likely include, the black knurled SAT (screw driver), an aluminum rod, a brass core brush tip and a brass core swab. They would have most likely come rolled together in some brown tissue paper...

Here is a photo of the tools for a 357 of that vintage.

The tools would have most likely been the same for your pre 18, except in .22 cal vs .357 cal... The tissue paper was a brownish tan like the paper in the photo under the gun and the Vapor paper.

That is a beauty. I'd take every opportunity to show it off as well.
