Triple Lock King Target and a little History
Hi Here is a little history on this Triple Lock with King Front and Rear sights.
I bought this revolver in Las Vegas at a show from an Air force Col. He said he used it at the base Range where they had a small group that would shoot
once a week. He was being transferred over seas and did not want to go thru the paper work to take it on his assignment.
The revolver is very smooth, and shoots great as you can see by the pictures.
I have owned it for over 20 years and it is one of my favorite 44 specials. I had a set of stocks made by Keith Brown and they work very nice for target work.
Enjoy the history and the pictures.

Another outstanding example of top of the line S&W revolvers. Liking the sight setup and the great looking grips on a great old triple lock.

Jim, Thanks for directing me into yet another field of interest...I am also a fan of anything to do with the work of Mr. King. I recently picked up a H.D. that had received the front and rear King treatment, with the help of my local smith I was able to finally get the rear sight adjusted for my apparently somewhat cock-eyed sighting picture. I am very happy with the end result and although the H.D. had received a good deal of use in its previous owner's hand it did not take too much work to bring it back to excellent shooting condition. I have known that ownership of a Triplelock is in my future and can only hope for one somewhere near to the terrific condition as yours.
