Wink Repatriated my Brazilian 1937

Picked up my Brazilian 1937 today after the warden released it from jail.
We had some discussion on it here:Grading a M1917 Checked it over again and all seems good except that when I pulled the side plate of I can't see an assembly number. It has the crest on the outside but the inside has what looks to be a lightly struck number with the number cut-off about half way down in a groove. It seems odd since there's plenty of space to put the assembly number. Other than that all the other numbers match, barrel, butt, cylinder, and extractor. The finish on the plate matches the frame inside and out, so even if it is mis-matched it looks "right". I pulled the "odd-socks" stocks off, and put a pair of Thailand hardwood checkered magnas on it. I forgot to order moon clips so I am going to put off a range trip with it until I get them. I'll post pics later tonight as soon as I dig out a camera if anyone want to see her. Thanks to all the "Enablers" here. I'll do my best to keep up your fine work! LOL!

You don't need moon clips to shoot a 1917. They just make loading super fast and unloading quick too.

Yes I understand, I also have a Mod 25-2 but mis-placed the clips for it. Just more convenient. Besides tomorrow being Fathers Day I better visit with Dad, at 86 you never know how many Fathers Days are left. Now if he were a shooter I could kill 2 birds with one stone.
