Default A new Baby in the cradle

Well, I couldn't help myself.

A 1953 (36853) Baby Chiefs Special -- pictured without the Tyler-T, but it's sporting one now -- for $426 + a bit of shipping. Cradles perfectly into my American Classic Gunleather holster

Lets me put my birth year 1952 (21249) -- pictured with a Tyler-T -- away for posterity (I'll still shoot it, but I won't carry it any longer).

Cheers,

Bob

When you steal a baby, I think they call it kidnapping. Jolly good show old man!

Thanks for all the comments folks. Kidnapper, eh? Hmmm.

Hey, kennicka, I know where you live. Went there once to look at a late '40s Chevy cab-over farm truck -- already sold. Neat little town you've got there! Nice folks.

The seller on GB didn't do himself any favors. I search for "S&W 36"; there are usually five pages, including lots of non-chiefs, to sift through. Seller's listing in the queue didn't include a photo and his listing read, "Smith and Wesson 36 Chief's Special."

I always check out the uninspiring listings. There were other bidders, too. Blind squirrel ~ acorn! A few more photos.

Cheers,

Bob

Yup, the '52 is too nice to carry. The '53 still looks great though, so congratulations on rounding up both of those. Very nice.

Thanks Charles.

Our very own 05CarbonDRZ created the holster using his baby chiefs to make the pattern. Great guy to work with, and he does superior work.

Cheers,

Bob
