A new 37 to complete a mini collection!
Picked up this beautiful 37 no dash and couldn't be happier! Loving the flat latch, diamond grips, and round butt. This will compliment my sq butt 37 very nicely! I have a snubby "problem". Wink.
Guessing the DOB to be late 50's, early 60's? (sorry if in wrong forum). I'll have S/N tomorrow and will add.
And my SB model .....

I carried one with a bobbed hammer for years as a backup gun. Always comforting to feel it in my boot.

Fitzed
I wish mine looked that good, someone got the great idea to Fitz it. I rebarreled it and rehammered it but cannot replace the the missing portion of the trigger guard. Stocks were filed down also.
Now the old flatlatch wears uncle mikes or pachs until the stags show up. Serial 1950xx. Birth year gun for me. Carried a lot not shot enough!

Actually the trigger guard can be repaired, see this thread.

How mutch is it worth?
Thought of that, already have more in it than it is worth, 37 is aluminum and that means TIG, and re anodizing the frame. Would be a whole lot safer to carry CCW, just hated to see a nice gun chopped up. It is what it is. Glad it did not happen to a more valuable unit
