I have several (OK, three) fixed sighted revolvers from this era, all with the half moon, rounded front sight. Age is upon me, and my eyesight, so those rounded contours easily disappear in the sun,
I hate the tacky look of a blob of fingernail polish or any other brightly colored paint on these classic looking revolvers but I still want to shoot them. Anyone have any better ideas than getting Testors flat black paint from a Hobby shop and painting the front sights with that?
