Need help to identify
My son ran across this at a pawn shop but states no model # stamped in crane area.
Serial number K 3017XX puts it around 1957 I believe.
6" barrel and in S&W .38 special.
Would this be a model 14?
What would be a decent price if mechanic's are good?
No box, etc.
And yes I figure the grips are worth $150.
Thanks

Model numbered S&W's started showing up in around 1958, but that one would've been simply called the K-38 Masterpiece.
In that apparent condition, I'd expect to see a price tag of between $600 and $800.
