It's a K-22 First Model, probably shipped around 1938. I'm not familiar with current values on these, but for one in high condition and original, I'd feel safe at a price of at least $1000, and probably more. I passed one up in maybe 85-90% condition with incorrect grips at $700 not too long ago.

Man, DWalt, you run across some inexpensive Outdoorsmans! The SCSW, 4th, and what I've run across says $2400 for Excellent condition and $1850 for VG. I'd break my arm retrieving my wallet at $1000.

Saw one in the gun show in the Dallas area last weekend. Same serial number range , 668XXX, I would say in the 90% or VG condition range. It was priced at $1950 firm. I passed but if it would have been priced at $1000 I would have been mine.

To me, the days of a $1000 high condition K22 Outdoorsman have be over for quite some time. OP, show us some pictures of your prize!

I picked this one last fall from a large auction house for $850.
Granted, the stocks don't number to the gun.

Have not figured out how to post pics yet-but to answer Tom K's request I paid $1300 at an auction recently. It is in a similar condition as the one posted by Bruce 5781.
