Default New to me k38

Hello guys. I just purchased a very clean k38. Its a pre model no number crane gun and trying to see if its a pre 14 or pre 15. The gun has numbered diamond magnas 4 screw frame and blue with a 4in barrel. The gun has id guess 97% bluing looks like its not been fired much at all. Whats a guess of value? I will try and get some pics im cleaning it up at the moment. Thanks the serial is k325xxx

Assuming your gun barrel is original, the 4" model is a precursor of the Model 15 (the precursor of the Model 14 has a 6" barrel). Yours is a K-38 Combat Masterpiece. Others will be along with value, but probably $450-600 is a reasonable range, depending of course upon condition.

Pictures would be nice but the 4" barrel probably points to a Pre-15

Sorry, but I cannot view your photo(s). Apparently, Photobucket does not allow this 3rd party hosting (direct transfer to another website) without upgrading your plan. At least, I think I understand their policies correctly (and upgrading means going from free to paid). You could attach thumbnail photos directly from your computer.

P.S. you can attach thumbnails easily by pressing "Go Advanced" and then scrolling down to Manage Attachments (perhaps you know that already, just mentioning it in case you do not).

Prob '57 or '58. My K-38 CM is a 1957, s/n K304xxx. It shipped in 12/57.

It is on top. A K-38 6" is in the middle and a Model 15-3 is on the bottom. All terrific shooters.
