Default Sent for letters. Quick return photos added

I have sent off for the first batch of letters this week for both 3.5" pre-27s and a 3.5" RM. What is the current turn around time associated with the history lessons?

Don't know, but not long.

Don't forget to get whatever from the Historical Foundation They are almost certain to have something on the RM. They had ten pages on my last one.

Matthew,
I just processed your requests Thursday. Roy Jinks will have them next week. You should have them back in about three weeks.
Thank You for the letters. It keeps us busy.

Are there any requirements to ordering from Historical Foundation?

Well, there was-----you had to have a letter first (and send them a copy). That said, there have been several changes more or less recently which have served to fuzzy up my brain on the topic.

I can pretty much guarandamntee you'll find what you need to know/do in their section of the forum---and if not, just ask them.

So much for three weeks. There must have been a rush order in place, less than 2 weeks. Thank you all for quick work. I think I will have some now for the S&WHF.

We are trying. When we took over letter writing from Smith & Wesson, we were 600 to 700 letters behind. We stopped the requests until we were caught up.

These two stablemates ship exactly two years and two weeks apart.

S90705 shipped September 10th 1952 to Bacharach Rasin Company in Baltimore Maryland. That would explain the electro pencil engraving number underneath the stock. BRG740013.

S108225 shipped September 24th 1954 to Rex Firearms Company in New York, New York.

Both are outfitted identically with three and a half inch barrels equipped with ramp front sites, blue finish with Walnut checkered stocks.
