Default First outing 1947 K-22

First time to the range with my 1947 K-22 Masterpiece. It worked flawlessly both SA and DA. Tested it from 3 yards to 15 yards. Both sequences shown shot at 7 yards standing two hands. I'm still getting used to it and I'm by no means a great shot. But, I can see this is a perfect pair for the K-38 in the family. Fun. And now clean up time.
(Note few pictures 90 degrees off. Don't know why.)

When you get your K-38

You will like how it shoots as well

They make a great pair

Seems 1947 was a very good year for the K22!
Here's mine:

I would like to get target grips for her. I bought some for my wife's K-38 and it feels more comfortable.

Have to agree on '47 being a GREAT year...

Shipped: Nov. 3, 1947 - I was "shipped" 10 days later!

I like target grips and have 'em on my 686's. I have a worn K22 from 1952 with magnas and recently added a BK grip adapter and I like it.

Great find you have there. I was determined not to buy any post-war S&Ws, but had to buy a pair of narrow rib 1948 Masterpiece revolvers to match my birth date a few years ago. Both shoot great, as should be expected from very well built revolvers. I also had to get Target stocks for my pair, plus could not resist picking up a K38 Heavy Masterpiece for a good price as well.

Not to neglect my heavy barrel K38, I picked up a rough set of Targets and had Paul (DWFAN) restore them. They look great on the K38!!

Default I picked up a clean K-22 earlier this year.

It dates to 1948. I am REALLY glad that I got it.
