Default '59 Chiefs w/2 period holsters

I recently mustered another Chiefs Special into the flock. According to the seller it had been her dad's, and he carried it in his truck while working for the Tennessee transportation department. Doesn't appear he carried it much. The cloudy spot near the latch is a reflection (couldn't get it not to be there with the bright sun we're enjoying today). Came with the box and two no-name holsters.

For what I guessed to be a 1959 Model 36 (stamped on the frame) I was surprised to see the label on the numbered box doesn't say Model 36 (perhaps left over from the pre-model days?). The singular "Chief" was a surprise, too. It makes a nice trio with my other boxes that say "Chiefs" and "Chief's."

The holsters are interesting, but they don't have a maker's mark. The pale one appears to be an IWB for a 1½" belt, and the other one is an OWB for up to a 2" belt. Any ideas on them?

Slàinte,

Bob
