Default Nice pair

I had the opportunity to examine a nice pair of S&W M&P revolvers today in 38 spl. Both are 5 inch nickle, with some flaking to the finish but they look virtually unfired. Serial numbers of 330,000 and 328,000. Any thoughts as to when they were made? Best I can determine would be just after WWI.

If there are no letters associated with the serial numbers, they would have shipped around 1920. Look for a letter prefix on the butt or post a few pictures and proper identification will then be possible.

Correct. No letter. Photos will come later, if I can acquire them. They belong to a friend and I'm cleaning them up now.

Do they have recessed-medallion or round-top non-medallion stocks? In that time frame, either could be correct.
