A K-38 Combat Masterpiece Pre-15
This bears serial # K200xxx. I believe that makes it about 1953?
It arrived with non diamond PCs and a chrome Tyler T Grip.
This was someone's " totin' pistol " 60+ years ago.
Best,
Charles

Yep. Probably in the fall of that year.

A Combat Masterpiece was my first centerfire handgun back in 1960. That one got away, but has since been replaced. Possibly my favorite S&W. Yours tells a story.

I list K1990xx as shipping in 11/53. Also a CM.
