Default Pre model 15 early 50's

Looking at a 98%+ pre model 15 5 screw from early 50"s
All numbers match including diamond service grips. No box. Original satin finish. Priced at 600.00 .sounds about right ?

A touch high but that is probably a nit plus I have mine.

I'd do it.

I bought mine in 2/16. A 15-3, with box, matching stocks. $575.00.

then that same month I got my 1957 K-38 CM, no box but matching stocks. $570. So yeah I did it.

If you like it, get it. I have one that is not 98% and I would not want to sell it for that. To me they make a great woods / farm gun. Great balance and weight to carry around.

Recently a pre 15 in 99% condition in original gold box sold for +$1500. I think $600 for a 98% pre 15 is a decent price. Do it! (But we do like spending other people's money).
