Elmer Keiths Pre 26 in 45 Colt
Hi
Here is pictures of Elmers 45 Colt Shipped to him in 1954 this is the only Documented 4 Inch pre 26 in 45 Colt. A copy of the invoice is attached.I will be in Tulsa in November for the NRA collecter show displaying this revolver and 12 other rare revolvers from our collection.

Somehow the term "awesome" falls short in describing that gun. Perhaps the proper term is "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!". It's probably worth 100 times the original invoice cost? Probably even more?

I have Skeeters 45 colt also, it is 4 inch model 25 made in 1963 to Skeeters spec. it has the same barrel as the Keith gun except it was cut down from a 6 1.2 model 50 barrel by the factory..
I will post it a little later.

Those are two fascinating revolvers from a time when S&W was at its best. I wish one could still order such hand made custom models.
