Need help with Grips
I recently moved and found these in a box I moved, I bought them with a bunch of old grips about 15 years ago. I know they are prewar N frame serial # is 54574 I believe this falls in the RM serial #'s
right grip has a minor chip and a couple dings
Any info would be appreciated.
Thank You Pete.

Yes, prewar Magna stocks. May have been on any N frame of the era but a higher chance of being from an RM. you can certainly ask Roy to see if he can match the SN to a gun.

RN or Wolf & Klar (3rd model 44 or 38-44 (Heavy Duty or Outdoorsman). Very desirable grips often missing from the guns we collect. Worth up to $600 in perfect shape.

I used to buy boxes of gun parts out of estate auctions in the more affluent towns around here some of these guys were higher ups in the military and such. I know these are worth a few sheckles they were tucked under the flap of a box, I almost threw them out. Wish I had the revolver to go with them.

These came on a triple lock target I got a while back and Roy confirmed the serial # 59897 was from a non registered magnum. These also have a few condition issues like the chip on the bottom. I've thought about getting them restored but I'm holding out until I find a/the non registered magnum these belong to. I'm sure I'll never find the matching gun, but if I find a weathered non RM I will most likely keep them as is. I'd value a set like ours at about 400-600 judging by auctions and gun show prices.
Glad you didn't throw them away!
