Century + K frames
These old guns all have been used! The parkerized 1899 does have all matching numbers, the blued (reblued at factory 7/78) has matching numbers, but may have replaced parts? stamped <>s on barrel and cylinder, RS on lower grip frame and restamped 4 line address block. Numbers: 8493, 20684, 45727, 46998, 58694, 156485. Yes, the 2 are 6.5 inch barrels. DSCN2062.jpg

grips
most are original, numbered to gun, others are searched out to be as original. Even beat-up, these old guns probably will bot be shot by me (again)! Hope fully they will make it another century.

On the two model of 1899 guns (serial numbers 8493 and 20684), what, if anything, is the caliber roll-marked on the left side of barrel ? I have a study that is trying to find the point where they changed from no caliber marking, to the one-line caliber marking, or if late enough, possibly the two-line caliber marking.
Thanks, Mike Priwer [email protected]
