Just before or just after WW2. Grips are much newer than the gun (after 1968). Someone has modified the front sight. It's probably been refinished. Maybe a $200 gun now.

I just now saw it in the other thread. I have asked the seller to provide serial number and if #'s are same on cylinder and under barrel. No response yet.
