18296 would suggest it shipped in 1905, possibly 1906. If it has a rounded butt it is a Model of 1902. Impossible to even guess at a value without some good pictures.

Pics would be nice. I don't have many in my database and nothing near that number, but i'm guessing sometime in 1905. If the stocks are are original to the gun, they are not bakelite, they are hard rubber.
Are you sure the barrel is 4"? Did you measure from the front of the cylinder to the end of the barrel?

Hi
You had already created a thread about this gun 12 hours before you posted this one. You got a couple replies there, including one from me. Here is what I wrote on that thread:
That is a very interesting combination, if your description is accurate. If there is no screw in the front of the trigger guard, the serial number would indicate it is in the transition period when they went from the four screw frame to the five screw frame in 1905. The published high number for the four screw guns is 18125. We know these "cutoff" numbers are soft because nothing ever seems to be hard and fast about them. Changes tended to be phased in, based on parts on hand.
So this is a .32-20 Hand Ejector Model of 1902, most likely made in 1905. It will probably have the round grip frame and probably shipped wearing hard black rubber stocks. The cartridge stamp on the barrel should say 32 Winchester CTG.
Without pictures, any value assigned would be pure guesswork.
I'm not sure why you created two different threads about this gun. Did you not see the earlier replies?
