Default Post War Sight Options?

I've searched the forum and read a number of threads but couldn't quite find the answer.

Could a post-war Pre-27 be ordered with a Marbles front sight and a U-Notch rear blade from the factory? I know pre-war guns had the option but wasn't sure the practice continued post-war. Is any value added if the revolver shipped in that configuration?

Thanks.

The S&W ".357" Magnum could be ordered with any sighting combination, including, the red post, patridge, call gold bead, McGivern gold bead, Baughman quick draw, and red ramp. The rear sight blade could be plain or white outline. An early post-war Magnum may have been manufactured with the sight combination you describe if the arm was special ordered that way. S&W would do special things if someone was willing to pay the additional cost. A Magnum shipped with special sights would be worth some sort of premium to most collectors.
