Hello,
My grandfather recently showed me his fathers old revolver. we would love it if you guys could help us identify it.
The number stamped on the bottom of the grip is :679837
the number stamped on the inside of where the cylinder rotates into the gun is: 18169
The barrel is 5 inches long, and shoots 38 special
We know the revolver is from before 1950 because that is when my grandfather remembers seeing the gun. We both don't know much about the gun but we figure it is one of the earlier model 10's because there is no letter stamp next to the serial number
Any help you guys can give us would be highly appreciated, I will attach some pictures if that helps.
