Man, .44 special is so pleasing to shoot. I love that cartridge so much.
I only have a couple at the moment however, good friend of mine got my my 4" Triple Lock, very good home for it, but I still have a 5" and another 4" with some stuff done to it. Well I guess they both have stuff done to them for that matter.

I was once stricken with this terrible afliction, think I contracted it from a feller named Skelton.
Thanks to many of the kind folks on here I have pretty well been cured and at least the 44 levels are down to managible numbers.
Why you can't shoot more than two at a time anyway.

I purchased my LGS last brand new s&w m24/6 1/2” barrel in 44 spec in nickel. I didn’t want to shoot 44 special out of my 44’s and get ring around the chambers.

I also have two Wolf & Klar 3rd Models (4" & 5"- Both blued). Oh, my EDC is a 3" Charter Arms Bulldog from 1980. I told you I'm crazy about the .44 Special!!!
I'm sorry I was a little slow to reply. But, I needed smelling salts to revive me after seeing the BEAUTIFUL guns in this thread! It's nice to have finally found a support group that really understands!
I started thinking about that 4" Triple lock and that 5" Triple Lock TARGET and got dizzy again......!

All I can say is wow photo thread. Meaning no disrespect to anyone. I have to blame the enablers here for my addiction.
Started off with a 624 with the 6.5" barrel w/box and goodies and the big red C on the box end. Then a 24-3 with the 3" bbl and combat grips, and finally the 24-3 4" barrel. My total store bought ammo supply consisted of 5 20 round boxes of WW 200 grain silvertips and one box of WW cowboy 246 grain lead bullets. Have ordered some Starline brass, dillon dies and 1500 240 grain round nosed for the girls. Frank

2nd Model HE and 2nd Model HE Target.
3rd Model HE and 1st Model HE Triple Lock (both renickeled outside the factory, as is evident from the nickel triggers and hammers). The 3rd Model has imitation ivory but the Triple Lock has genuine pearl.
Triple Lock Target, with custom grips made for someone with huge hands.
The seldom-seen 8-3/8" .44 Special
My custom 8-3/8 .44 Special with its shorter siblings - 6-1/2", 4", 3".
5" .44 Hand Ejector 4th Model Military "Pre-Model 21".
Then there are other brands, as well. A put-together Colt New Service based on a 1917 frame.
Rossi, Taurus, Charter.
I have some others, but you get the gist.

3rd Model from Providence R.I. PD & a Wolf and Klar
Another addition. The stocks were added at the factory (I believe) when it went back to the factory in March 1965 for "refurbishing".
I have the correct stocks for a '31 vintage gun on it now. I took this pics at the store where I got it or its' "gotcha " day!!!
The 4" was a pawn shop find. It letters to W&K in 1930. I added the stags.
