Navy Victory for data base
V87950. U.S. NAVY on top strap. Obviously the grip s/n doesn't match but the rest do. I've noticed that Victory's that have non matching grips are always aftermarket or of a factory style that post dates the revolver. These pre date by a decade or two. Right grip is void of any stamps or pencil marks.

Closer inspection of the recoil shield shows it may have been fired very little if at all after being shipped.

Another Navy-stamped specimen, V897xx, shipped on 9/2/42.

Hello Chief:
From the Database I would estimate that your Navy Victory shipped in the time frame of late August to early September, 1942.
